Courtney Love Accuses Dave Grohl Of Sleeping With Frances Bean Cobain

Last night, the Hole singer took to her private Twitter account @cbabymichelle to accuse former Nirvana drummer Dave Grohl, 43, of sleeping with her 19-year-old daughter, Frances Bean Cobain, reports Gawker.

Gawker reports that Love aired the accusations to the 792 followers privy to her private account. "I hear from frannies roommate that @davegrohl hit on frances, and that she was curious , I'm not mad at her, him i am about to shoot, dead."

According to screencaps taken of the conversation, Love said she'd heard from reliable sources, including a driver, who say Grohl's hands were "all over her." In a series of tweets, Love also repeatedly threatened Grohl, declared him "sexually obsessed" with Kurt, and made note that he named his daughter Violet, which is also the name of one of Love's most well-known songs. She also claimed that Grohl frequently tried to sleep with her and that "he had that romney rape thing about him."

Well, yeah, but why get facts or reality get in the way of your off-the-rails sensational delusions...? It's amazing that Frances has turned out as well as she has, given her environment. I just hope she doesn't have a Bobbi Kristina-like implosion after years of media scrutiny and repression. Poor kid.

It's possible she connected something she saw on the news about Romney stating that women who are raped shouldn't be able to have abortions with actual rape (or as Whoopi says "RAPE rape"). You see, Romney is a rapist and, therefore, Dave Grohl is a rapist. Doesn't it all make sense now???

She also recently compared the use of a 'Smells Like Teen Spirit' parody in the Muppet movie to rape and was tweeting like mad "at" Jason Segel. Courtney, honey, you do realize that parody and satire fall under a whole different realm of copyright law and are often exempt from it completely? She also probably signed off on its use but just forgot in a drugged-up haze.

It's so sad because she is really, really talented. Hole was my grumpy teen album more than Nirvana. But she is so, so fucking crazy.

Can Grohl sue her for slander? Because he totally should.

I think Grohl (and Krist, too) is wise to continue to just keep clear and quiet about Courtney and her antics. Because really, when someone is so obviously off-the-rails insane, it's not like sitting down and having a calm conversation about facts versus Batshit is going to be possible, much less effective. Ditto a lawsuit; even if it IS slander, no one really believes the crap she spews, and a lawsuit would only poke the crazy twenty times more. Or, as Gramma used to say, "The more you shake the shit, the worse it stinks." The only realistic thing to do is let Courtney continue to build sandcastles of crazy in her sandbox. We all already know it's actually a shit-filled litter pan. Pointing that out to her wouldn't work.

And, because it bears repeating... poor Frances.

I never really got into Hole's music, but there really was a raw power (not just Alanis-gratuitous rage) about some of their stuff. I should go back and give a listen some more. The last time I listened to "Doll Parts," I was surprised at how well it's stood up.
