I'm just questioning whether Courtney sees the connection between her behavior and the results she encounters. If she understands her actions have consequences, in other words.

I don't mean to imply that chanting has no value. 'The Buddha in You Mirror' is a very good book! O/T but I have an altar in my home and do Great Work/manifesting stuff all the time. So 93 and all of that, understand. Does it 'work'? IMHO, yes indeed it does. As long as you understand that the biggest lesson can come from getting exactly what you asked for!

There was a cute clip of FB telling her not to smoke. I think they had a bet about it but I forget what it was. Dog-gone it!

No worries, I understand what you mean. I'm hoping Courtney is finally becoming aware of the effects her behavior has had on her life and on her daughter's life. I'm afraid she might not be getting the point that the book seems to be making about cause and effect being inextricably tied, etc. I hope she's finally getting it.

I just watched The Return of Courtney Love. It was interesting, but what a wimpy interviewer. I mean, come on. Anyone who falls to the floor and passes out while holding a lit cigarette is chemically altered in some way. I was disappointed that he let Courtney get off with the "I'm just mad" excuse. You may be mad as a hatter Courtney, but you're also on drugs.

Frances seems pretty level headed, in spite of what I imagine to be a chaotic life. From what Courtney shared about Frances' feelings after DCF investigated, it's obvious that she no longer has any illusions about her mom.

I know! Then when the interviewer lightly broached the subject she says, "Oh yes. Linda said, 'If I didn't know any better I'd say you were on drugs'."

I think people are afraid of her.

For some reason people are afraid of her. Maybe because she's so batshit crazy she gives the impression she might do anything. I remember in the movie Kurt and Courtney when Nick Broomfield and his cohorts had a chance to actually confront Courtney about their allegations they ended up kissing her ass instead. That was pretty lame.

This story is about a week old, but I don't really understand why Courtney isn't paying her rehab bill. Maybe she hasn't gotten the rights sale cash in her hands yet? She can't have already blew through it.

The Beau Monde center, which offers massages, gourmet food and whale watching to its predominantly wealthy celebrity clients, said in a lawsuit that the singer paid $10,000 up front but failed to pay the remaining fees.

Reading further, I see her attorney said there was a dispute over how much she owed.

I need to clear out some old storage space here because I have a great business idea. Mega-buck$$$...I'll open my own rehab!

Is she broke yet? I keep hearing about how she's squandered away most (or all) of Kurt's money, and her solo album bombed hard. Maybe she can't even afford her rehab bill.

I seem to recall she sold Kurt's diary a few years back because she was running out of money. Hopefully somebody, at some point, had the brains to put something away for Frances Bean that Courtney can't touch, but I doubt it.

She has really destroyed her face with plastic surgery. I know she wasn't attractive to begin with, but at least she was just garden-variety fug. Now with all the surgeries, she's actually so freaky looking that people turn around to gawk when she walks by.

And her body in the navy blue one-piece looks like that of a 60 year-old woman. Horrifying.

Heh...I love how she says she's back to her original nose. Nuh-uh, Corky, not even close.

And the only other time I've seen her looking that thin was when she was coked up and smoking crack. I honestly hope this isn't the case this time...but all signs point to drugs.
