Don't know how much is Linda Perry's doing, but they sound good regardless. Courtney looks high and messed up, but at least it's in the appropriate setting.

That is so bizarre. I was such a fan of the 1992-94 Courtney, the punk devotee. And now she's got no guitar and she's singing mediocre top 40 songs. She's turned into Cher.

I think if Kurt could see what his family has become, he'd be so horrified. Frances is living in L.A., going to movie premieres, posing for the paparazzi coming out of Kitson. And Courtney...I guess everybody is horrified by what she's turned into.

Yeah, Courtney sucks now. I keep holding out hope that she'll become cool again and release a kick ass album, but, bleh. All of the kittyradio drama with her has really turned me off. She really hates her fans.

Oh yeah, and I'm sick of her milking Kurt's death with all of the non-specific death imagery. "Blood on my hands" "drowning". That stopped being intriguing in 1995, and yet she beat it into the ground on Celebrity Skin (which was dedicated to "all those who have drowned"). Enough already.

Well, he gave up his right to be horrified at anything about the way his daughter turns out when he blew his head off when she was a toddler. If Kurt could see it he could say, yes, I should have stayed around for my daughter instead of leaving her to be raised by an unstable mess. Hindsight, huh?
