Hmm, a lot of Frances Bean's work resembles Marilyn Manson's art. Yeah, it's kind of...I don't want to say "derivative" because I'll give her the benefit of her youth, but it is kind of like flicking through Deviant Art. It does look like she's technically skilled, though, so it will probably be pretty good once she finds her vision or maybe changes media. |

Topic: I found the BTM very compelling -- Courtney is nuts but she can also be charismatic and smart/self-aware enough at times to make it work sometimes. Live Through This was totally my teen angst album. I really really like the title track off "Nobody's Daughter" - the album itself sounds pretty much exactly like a hit-or-miss Hole album from the 90s and?", hey, that's fine.

I think her stuff resembles stuff Cobain did. And you know, good for Francis. I can't believe how emotionally invested I am in wanting to see her have a good life.

I don't know why everyone is so agog about those pictures. By Courtney standards, she looks utterly fantastic. Pale, yes, but like a normal person. It's nothing like a few years ago when you'd see photos of her carved-up face all made up like Baby Jane.

What are those round bruise-ish looking marks on her arms? There are two on her upper right arm and one near her left elbow.

She has little flower tattoos all over her body now. They kind of look like blotches from a distance.

The bar for Courtney has been set pretty low. |
