That's really too bad.
He was one of the only young, "dreamy" actors of the mid-90's that managed to not completely irritate me. He was always a really solid, non-cutesy performer.

Oh man. I was thinking when I saw his name he was dead. He was never a big heartthrob to me (I preferred JTT  ) but I remember my friends and I went to see his movie Tom & Huck the day it opened (because JTT was Tom of course  ). After the movie, when we were swooning away in the bathroom, a group of older girls came in--okay, they were probably thirteen--squealing and saying, "I can't believe I got to see Brad Renfro's butt!" To this day, whenever I hear he's been arrested that's what I think of. It's so sad he's gone from that to...well, what he is now. |

I used to be soooo in love with him, along with all my friends. It's a shame how he's ended up.

You know, when I clicked on this thread I was prepared to make a Renfro/Furlong "What's the difference?" joke, but then I saw that pic. That's just incredibly sad. I can't even snark about it.

Yeah, it seems he's heading down the Furlong path. Both of them had family issues-I believe Renfro lived with his grandmother.
