GNC, you did hear the rumor that they had to digitally un-enhance his package, right?

I think that's just a rumor. I watched a quick thing about the new Superman costume where the costume designer talked about the package. She said they actually spent quite a while making sure that is was bulgy enough but not too bulgy. I think she even mentioned test audiences or focus groups to see how people felt about the package. She was laughing the whole time.

I think he did a wonderful job as Superman. I prefer him to Christopher Reeve (never got the hype about him).

In Superman Returns he is filmed like Rennaissance painting. In real life he is good looking in a more natural way, like that cute, dorky guy in the IT department you joke around and flirt with in the lunch room.

Mr. Routh certainly is quite the slice of beefcake! I liked him best in the Clark Kent glasses, because yes, otherwise he is so pretty it's almost bland. The glasses add just the right amount of, I dunno, character?

The fact that he's also apparently slightly batshit just makes me like him more -- that post-firing temper tantrum is hilarious! When I'm not ogling the pretty, I can be entertained by the crazy. I say bring it on.

Ooh, I have a 3 degrees of seperation from Brandon Routh. He is from my home town of Des Moines, and he played baseball with my cousin Chad on the same little league team, and his sister was in the same graduating class as my previously mentioned cousin. Though I think if I walked up to him on the street and yelled that he knew my cousin back in the day he would give me a funny look, but it would still be hot.

There's something about him that I just don't like. It's not that he's so perfect looking because I don't mind the perfect looking type (Jake G is, after all, my soulmate)...but it's just bad perfect. Maybe I have to see him in motion but in pictures he does absolutely nothing for me.

I was on ONTD the other day and they had screencaps for what looked like a softcore porn that he did. In the end I think it was just for some MTV show, but it still looked pretty raunchy.

See, now while I do see the pretty, I've never thought of either BR or Jake G as being particularly perfect looking. If anything, James Marsden has that sort of plastic-perfect look.

Both JG and BR look a little odd, IMO. Still really attractive, but BR looks like a family-pack version of Jason Schwartzman, and to me, Jake's eyes always seem to border on scary/buggy.

I don't think he's perfect looking at all. I look at him and there's just something that's so off about his face. He's kinda fug to me.

I have to admit, he looked pretty good as Superman, but then the costume did all the work. In real life, I've got no use for him. He just looks vacant and doofy.
