I don't like him. Haven't seen Superman, but I remember him from his One Life to Live days, and the rumor was he was fired because he refused to play a gay character. That part may not be true, but I also remember the seething, accusatory letter he posted on his website about how wrong and evil the show was for firing him and how they would be sorry. It was also laced with religious references....it was taken down pretty quickly, but like, way to be professional dude. I guess he got the last laugh though, what with the being a big movie star now.

Well, considering the character he was playing was Jessica's boyfriend and never turned out to be gay, I don't think that's true. I heard he was fired for bad acting.

Anyway, I haven't seen Superman yet, but I'm looking forward to it. I was skeptical at first but I've heard nothing but good things about his performance.

I'm not sure if it's his face or his makeup, but he looks like he escaped from the plastic looking family in the old Duracell commercial.

I saw him on Larry King. He was there with Kevin Spacey. Spacey drooled over him. I was sure he was going to take a big bite out of Brandon. He's pretty but in a too pretty way. He does nothing for me.

I saw Superman and thought he did a good job. Of course it also helps that he definitely looks like the part. I also think that his face is so symmetrically perfect that it can be borderline boring. His face looked so perfectly chiselled on screen my dad said he looked like a cartoon! He's definitely a pretty guy. I think he looks kind of dorky at times too (it's not just when he's Clarke Kent).

Yeah, he was Jessica's boyfriend, but he also had a ton of sexual chemistry with the guy who plays Rex. Everyone on the One Life message boards noticed it and then there was a rumor that TPTB were going to run with it. Either it was just a rumor, or ABC/Disney chickened out (wouldn't be the first time). Then BR was fired and posted the pissy message on his website.

As Superman he does nothing for me, but he did a spread in Vanity Fair and he looked hot.
