I can't stand her. Don't know why. Reminds me of Jenny McCarthy too.
Isn't she on Broadway at the moment? opposite Patrick Wilson? For some reason, despite her, I'd love to see "Barefoot in the Park".

I like her, alot. I think she is gorgeous and a versatile actress: She was very good in both "Saving Silverman" and "Igby Goes Down", and these were two very different roles. (But I totally believe that blind item a couple weeks ago about a coked up presenter grinding her teeth was about her.)

They both look happy in that picture- the heads tilted opposite ways is very cute. Further down from that though, there is a blurb for a "Dancing with the Stars" article that had me cracking up: Vivica A. Fox and Mario Lopez dish about their changing bodies. I saw Saved by the Bell. Mario went through 'the change' a long time ago. |

Based on Identity and Syriana, she seems to have not-completely-crappy taste in projects (or maybe I just instinctively avoided the true stinkers she's been in).
Still, I think as an actress she's completely... replaceable. I don't think I've ever seen her give a performance where I went, "Now THAT had the Amanda Peet stamp all over it." She was OK in Identity but it could've been played by anybody else, if you ask me.

For the longest time I didn't like her (and I still don't) but I couldn't put my finger on why.
Then it dawned on me... in her earlier work, I always got the feeling she was channeling Julia Roberts... she sort-of usurped her mannerisms.
It's like she couldn't get her own vibe going. I felt like she was trying to figure out what could make her a star and she chose the hottest actress at the time to emulate.
She's definitely pretty but in a weird way, she's blah. I don't get a great deal of charisma coming off her.
