I swear I looked hard for a thread for her so if I missed it then I am so sorry. Anyway, she's like the only person involved with Brokeback Mountain that did not get an Oscar nod. The other main actors did, the director did, the movie did, the composer did, the writer did, etc... so that's gotta hurt bad. I thought she did a really good and yet the critical acclaim is totally bypassing her. Other than that, I know nothing about her, except she was kind of irritating on Oprah, but then so was Oprah.

Her casting as the lead in the The Devil Wears Prada kinda surprised me. Not that I think she'd be bad or anything but I just didn't picture the character that way.

For some reason, she sort of annoys me. It might've been the Oprah appearance, although I think I've thought she's irritating since before that. She's very pretty, though. And she has nice hair. (I never said I wasn't shallow!) |

Yeah, she's got beautiful breasts.
I at least thought she should have gotten a nomination for BBM. Her character in the short story is so minor that she doesn't even have dialogue. I thought that the way the screenwriters and Anne fleshed out such a small role, especially in the heartbreaking scene when she's on the phone with Heath Ledger, was really wonderful.

I think she's incredibly fug. Like in a distracting way. She also maintains that look of a teenager wearing her grandmother's clothes. A little creepy.

Agreed on the fug. It's like she gives off the illusion of pretty, but when you break it down it's all fug.
I hate her so much and I don't know why. Maybe because she has the name of someone who belongs in a Jane Austen novel (like Emma Thompson. I can never tell if these two are character names or actresses). I hate Jane Austen.

Love her. She makes an entertaining interview, she doesn't downplay the things that made her famous, and she seems nice. She also has a gay brother and she's gonna be the "best man" at his wedding.

I like her, and props for doing stuff like Havoc and BBM and managing to break out from the "Disney Child Star" image.
And she does overdo the bright red lipstick sometimes. If the next Batman movie needs The Joker to have a hot, but slutty, sister...
