Rita Marley is striving to do her best to thoroughly fuck up her husband's legacy. Her attempt last year (I think) to have Bob's body exhumed and relocated to Ethiopia actually prompted the Jamaican government to seek an injunction to stop her from doing so, and invoked the wrath of not just Jamaicans, but the entire Caribbean.

Her hatred of Cindy Breakspear is legendary though - she has refered to her basically as nothing more than a groupie who wouldn't leave Bob alone. Of course the irony is that of all Bob's children, it is Cindy's son Damian who has achieved the greatest international acclaim.

I disagree with this statement. Ziggy (Rita's son) has put out critically acclaimed albums over the past few years. Damien's debut album was produced by Rita's other son, Stephen and she has welcomed him into her home.

I think Ziggy and some of his brothers (can't keep track of the names there are too many of those guys) said that despite whatever with the estate and despite having different mothers they all get on very well and they are all really close.

That sounds like heaven. There are only there are only 2 children that came out of my traditional nuclear family and we grew up to hate each other's guts and become estranged. I wish I had 14 brothers and sisters to hang out with who have all got my back.
