I think he was robbed of an Oscar for "The Talented Mr. Ripley". That was one of the most disturbing performances I've ever seen.

I don't know if he should have won (still a toss-up between Russel Crowe in The Insider and Denzel in The Hurricane for me) but he definitely deserved a nomination. He was so grasping and desperate and clingy. It wasn't like he was a straight up sociopath as Tom Ripley, he was something far creepier, imo.

He is one of my favorite actors. I think he is talented and attractive, but he also just seems very well grounded and nice. If he is in it, I will see it.

I am glad that she has such a pretty name, that just reaffirms the whole normal vibe I get from him. If he had named her something like bklynred's suggestion, or Starbucks Bananarama Damon, then I would be sad.
