She's already back on Twitter. She's saying she wants to gain control over her finances again so she can go back to NYC. I wonder how long it will take before the meds wear off and she'll be back to wandering around LA (or NYC if she gets control of her money) and ranting on her secret Twitter account.

Sweet Jesus.
When are these people going to get it that she could have really benefited from that extra 30-days at the facility? They could have done further counseling to really grasp what is going on with this girl and to see if the meds are truly working.
Every time they give her an inch, she takes 3000 miles back to NYC. <sigh>
I'm glad that they are going to protect her finances and estate, but that's really only going to benefit things from a $$ perspective. Is she just too far gone to care about her actual well-being and health? I'm depressed just hearing/reading about it.

According to the latest on her Twitter feed, she has been diagnosed bipolar/manic depressive and is now on medicine and "everything is fine". She also states her parents only give her $50 spending money each day and that she wants to get her own apartment.

Amanda is now claiming that a friend tweeted all that stuff about her being bipolar. She may be bipolar, but I'm still taking anything she says on either of her Twitter accounts with a grain of salt.

I'm watching her in 'Easy A' opposite Emma Stone on the FX Channel right now. The movie is just mildly entertaining but Amanda is funny and believable as the high school religious zealot.
All I can think is, what a shame.

If her parents are controlling her money that tightly, have they arranged somewhere for her to live, like an apartment? Because it makes no sense she's roaming the streets homeless, surviving on $50 a day. I would think maybe she's so intent on rebelling that she's rejecting any living arrangements they have made for her.

If her parents are controlling her money, and there's no way she can secure housing by herself, what else is she going to do? |

They can rent an apartment in Los Angeles for her, there is plenty of third party activity like that going on for celebrities. Whether she becomes a pain in the ass to her neighbors, that is a later problem.

She is obsessed with twitter. Though I notice even fans aren't engaging as much as they did before... Maybe there's hope for humanity, after all.
