Cancer sucks. She was a part of my youth (even though we are close in age), so I have a soft spot for her too.
Has she written an autobiography? She had some crazy times back in the day and I imagine it would be an interesting read.

When Shannen's first diagnosis became public, along with the news it had spread beyond the lymph nodes (thankfully, mine didn't), I knew the news wasn't good.
I had high hopes when she went into remission, but there was that part of me that knew it would return pretty quickly. I wish I hadn't been right. I feel awful that she's going through this in the first place. I know there's a lawsuit in that her manager(?) wasn't keeping up on her bills, health insurance, etc. Perhaps the cancer could have been caught much earlier. She's still very young. I've always had a soft spot for her too, so this latest news makes me even sadder for her.

Right now she's suing State Farm insurance because she claims they didn't pay her enough millions for her home damages from the Woolsey Fire. She's going to continue being herself to the end. |

This makes me very sad. It's bad enough that she got cancer once. Having it come back again and it's stage four is heartbreaking.

The cancer that she has has spread to her brain Not good news for the 52 year old. (I don't know why, but the Search feature could not find this thread. I had to manually go through 12 pages to find her.) |

That is really terrible. My heart goes out to her. Apparently her husband carried on an affair with his publicist whilst Shannen was in the midst of cancer treatment (she's since divorced him). |
