Yeah, she said he found out just before going in for surgery that he'd been cheating on her for two years (I think with his agent).

Wasn't it the opposite, that he was trying to wait out her death so he didn't have to pay her a settlement?

I think it was both- he'd been cheating, triggering the divorce, and then he didn't want to have to give her any money so he drew out the court case.
