I agree with this, the only difference to me are the eyes. I also feel she resembles Julianne Moore. I think she is pretty, but I don't see a stunner that most see. Her jawline is a little on the manly side, and she seems incapable of closing her mouth for more than 3 seconds. Her eyes are the only thing that I can call stunning. Although even they are a little weird with how on the inside, they sink down.

She was awful in Labyrinth. Couldn't. Act. At. All. To be fair, she would have only been about 15 when the movie was made. Absolutely! I think she was adorable in this movie for what it was and also for her age. I believe this was her first starring role and the film itself went through the wringer for being so different for Henson and his normal Muppet fare. It's now a underground cult classic for Henson-enthusiusts.

I wish she'd gain a few pounds, too. She looks haggard and old beyond her years when she's too thin.

I think she's absolutely gorgeous, but I agree it's in the eyes, they are piercing. She's good in everything I've ever seen her in, even that dreadful Hulk movie. But I especially loved her in Requiem For A Dream and House of Sand and Fog.
She does seem to gravitate towards depressing characters though. Reminds me a lot of Naomi Watts in that sense. Though Watts finally broke out of that mode with I Heart Huckabees, I'd love to see Connelly do the same thing.

Oh, whitefalcon, I agree...although she looked quite meaty in Pollock and Dark City. Yes, those seem to be the last two movies she made with her natural curves. Then the Ally McBeal scourge took over Hollywood and she lost so much weight. I agree with mscathead that the thinness ages her prematurely.

I just read somewhere that the author of The Rocketeer based the female lead on Bettie Page. I wonder if Jennifer could have played her well.

I loved her in The Rocketeer. I don't generally like commenting on weight...but dear god, she needs to gain some back. She was so lovely in Pollack, and she looks like she's aged ten years since.

She was gorgeous in "Pollack," but I have an aversion to that film because my crazy ex was obsessed with it. And picked a huuuge fight with me because I don't like Pollack's art, but that's neither here nor there.
I would kill to look like she did in that film, but now? Dear jeebus, eat something!

She was so young in Once Upon a Time in America, but you could tell there was "something" about her.
I agree with everyone that she's too thin. Girl needs to eat a few more sandwiches.
