I think he is an amazing actor!!! Totally underrated!!! I wish he would get more work and perhaps win an oscar one day. While I believe he is charming and intelligent, I just can't take anything he says seriously especially his feminists are ''men with vaginas''
comment. I remember watching him on Leno a couple of years ago when he was promoting some movie. He mentioned that if he was president he would just "push the button" to a nuclear bomb dropping in Afghanistan. At that moment, I was thinking, that's why you are an actor and not the president.

Wow. That definitely is creepy old bastard territory he is occupying right now. Plus, what the hell is she thinking? Aside from being a rather special kind of ugly, he is nearly FORTY years older than her. Now I can see going for that kind of age difference with maybe Viggo Mortensen but James frickin' Woods? Ugh.

You beat me to it, Rose Prose. For most people, knowing a girl at age 5 would preclude dating her 15 years later but there must be some alien, quirky dating practices in LA I'm unfamiliar with.

Well, there is an anecdote about Mackenzie Phillips and Mick Jagger, that when they slept together, he told her, "I've been waiting for this since you were ten!" She was 18 at the time, so at least he didn't break any laws. Who knows if it's actually true, but she's fond of telling the story. And it's not just a Hollywood thing...I remember watching the Kate Beckinsale version of Emma in school and at the end, Mr. Knightley looks at Emma lovingly and says, "I held you in my arms when you were three weeks old!" The entire class shuddered and our teacher tried to explain away the ickiness without much success. James Woods? Creepy, beady eyes. |

I would think it would be okay if you were also five. Like if you went to school together, and then hooked up later, or you were friends as kids. Or even if you were a little bit older, like say, eight. Then it wouldn't make a difference. But if you were an adult? Squicky. |
