I'm so glad His Hotness is not dead. Scared me for a minute.

The only reason I sat through the movie "The Client" was because Tommy Lee Jones was in it. Too bad he didn't have a bigger part.
I have never seen him in a movie where he wasn't absolutely fabulous in his role. I am a huge fan of his.

I agree he was fantastic in that movie. But at the time, my 12 year old self was watching it for Brad Renfro.
I loved him in The Fugitive. I even sat through the crap that was Man Of The House because of him..."This is my haaapppy faaace"

Yes, I saw it. I know what you mean because...Gary Gilmore. But TLJ is of course excellent in the role.
There's one scene with him and Rosanna Arquette getting realy physical and oh my lord. **sweat**
Find a copy. Do what you must.

TOTALLY!
Saw Prairie Home Companion over the July 4th weekend, and I would now like to present my own little "Tommy Lee Jones Meets Judy Blume" scenario for you now:
Are you there, God? It's me, India.
I was just wondering if you could quit with the whole "Tommy Lee Jones Is Gonna Die In This Movie, Too" theme-party you have going on. I was wondering if I could see a movie, for once, where my husband doesn't get:
Stabbed in the head and shoved through the computer console of a submarine, gets the death penalty because he's a serial killer, gets shot and shoved through a plate glass window, gets "blown away" (we get it already, we get it!), gets taken away in a big black car by Virginia Madsen (so you know he's dead, because she's the Angel of Death in that particular film), commits suicide by shooting himself in the head, or is left on the moon to die of pancreatic cancer (I mean, really now. What, were you feeling particularly creative on that day?).
Couldn't we end all of his movies where he's just smiling and clapping at Sissy Spacek? You did it once, I'm sure you could do that again. And she won an Oscar for that role too, so obviously it's not a bad thing to have happen.
Imagine my dismay on July 2 when once again, I found myself yelling, "HEY!" at the end of another one of his movies. I've been loyal and faithful since I was 13, and frankly, this isn't fair. I'm not asking you to iron out his face wrinkles. I'd just like for one of his films to end without him taking the big dirt nap.
Thanks very much for taking this into consideration. Amen.

India, you sound really frustrated, and I don't blame you. I hated the end of The Eyes of Laura Mars where he turned out to be the psycho. I wanted him and Laura to catch the killer and then go off together to lead long, happy, fulfilling lives together. Was that too much to ask?!
I recommend a marathon of films where he does not end up dead. Just to make you feel better.
