Her estate is her husband who she married so she could stay in the US, and who got her into Scientology. They were estranged before she started dating Carrey, and this seems like little more than blackmail on his part. Team nobody. |

Those Carrey emails read like he's gaslighting her hard. It's awful that she felt she had no choice but to take her own life.

The guy is totally despicable, but the ex-husband is either a money-grabber or wants to hurt Carrey by exposing what an asshole he is. I can't imagine him actually winning his suit. While Carrey was a complete jerk for the first breakup, she went back to him & there doesn't seem to be any evidence that he was verbally abusive during the second breakup.

I always forget that Jim Carrey and Renee Zellweger dated for awhile, but now that I think about it, they both were very eerily quiet about it when they broke up. I got the vibe that Renee, in particular, wanted to eternally sunshine her spotless mind (sorry in advance for the lame pun) that they were ever even a couple. I got the feeling she had witnessed some disturbing behavior on his part.
