Oooo, Pasty Kensit! The first time I ever saw her was on MTV back in the 80's. They were covering the Geneva Music Festival (I think?) and she was there with the band she used to be in. She wasn't much of a singer, but when they interviewed her backstage I thought she was so pretty and sweet.

And yeah, she was married three times. First to a guy from Big Audio Dynamite, then Jim Kerr, then rancid Liam.

I always got a bit of a groupie vibe from her, the way she went from rocker to rock star to bigger rock star.

She started that groupie mess back in the 80s. When she was 17, she dated Andrew Ridgeley of Wham, who was 22 at the time.

Oh man. Patsy Kensit was in this really bizarre version of The Turn of the Screw (and that's a really weird little book to begin with). My Dad and I stumbled upon it and couldn't stop watching-- it was so weird! It looked like a Trent Reznor video and attempted to show the duality of the interpretations one can make reading the book by showing scenes or shots twice, each with different acting choices (if that makes any sense). At least, I think-- I haven't seen it in ten years, and have never been able to find it for rent. I totally want to see it again. It was a bit of a mind-fuck.

Not that obscure. She was in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade and turned down playing Eowyn because she didn't want to be away from her family for months. ;D

When I first saw Angels and Insects and laid eyes on Patsy Kensit, I was like "hey, she's from Eighth Wonder!" That band that sang Cross My Heart. I lurved that song as a teenager (shut up! the video was played a lot on Video Hits) and I thought she was so freaking gorgeous.

She was so beautiful in the Leathal Weapon movie, but I've never seen her in anythign else.
