I was watching TV last night and she was in a really cheesy movie that I got sucked into.
I remember her from Lethal Weapon and man, was she beautiful.
Is she British?

According to IMDB she's a British child star and has been working on episodes of a long-running series called Emmerdale Farm since 2004 as well as assorted movies and T.V. shows.

Yeah she is currently 'the bitch' on Emmerdale, one of the highest rated shows on ITV, the most popular channel in the UK. She is an atrociously wooden actress- she also stars in A Bear's Tale, literally the unfunniest most horrible stab at comedy I've ever seen, and she can't do 'funny' to save her life, though God knows she tries hard enough.

I don't like her. I remember on one of those 'I Love the 80s' shows she had a prolonged rant defending the much maligned Absolute Beginners, saying "I've met Martin Scorsese, okay, and he told me the opening was one of the best pieces of cinema he'd ever witnessed!!!' Bitch please.

Before Emmerdale the only thing I and presumably everyone else knew her for was being the cokehead wife of Liam Gallagher, the most hateable man in popular music- fact!

I never remember which Gallagher brother is which, but I do remember her being married to one of them - and didn't Liam leave her for Nicole Appleton or someone from one of those fabpop girl groups spawned by the Spicegirls' success? (I swear to god, if someone verifies that's her name, I'm gonna kill my brain. What did I forget so that I could remember that?)

I thought Patsy was pretty decent in the movie Angels and Insects. The movie was beautifully shot, and also starred Kristin-Scott Thomas. I saw a censored version on PBS, then rented the movie and was, um, intrigued by the intensity of the sex scenes. She's not a terrific actress by any stretch, but she definitely has an ethereal quality that could make you believe that someone could instantly fall in love with her.

eta: Thanks, keepittight. Kicking my brain right now, and hoping that with that Nicole Appleton thing clearing out some much-needed space, I'll finally remember where I put my passport.

That is indeed her name, she used to be in All Saints, who are supposed to be making a comeback this year. She and Liam have a kid <retains inane trivia/> .Seems Liam has a thing for eau de famewhore, though Patsy is admittedly nowhere in the Appleton sisters league. I've never read it, but I've heard their joint autobiography is hilariously self involved.

That's the only thing I've seen her in, apart from tabloids, and I thought she was quite effective in the role. Beautiful but without much life in her and creepy even before the family secret was revealed.

She's very pretty, but yeah, in everything I've ever seen her she was extremely annoying. Well, that's not entirely true, because I did enjoy the fact she got whacked in the Last Don: Part Two. It was sad, though, that the autistic character in the mini had a better range of emotions.

The opening sequence of Absolute Beginners actually is one of the best pieces of cinema ever shot, but that's probably for another thread. I never thought she was as beautiful as she was in that movie. Wasn't she at one point married to Jim Kerr from Simple Minds, or have I lost my mind? And even more insane trivia - I believe she plays Mia Farrow/Daisy Buchanan's daughter in that wretched Great Gatsby movie.

The only thing I remember her for is that she was in a movie called Kleptomania and it was one of the funniest things I ever saw, even though it was supposed to be very serious. It's about some rich woman who's a klepto and also a bulimic. Patsy plays a homeless woman who acts really abusive towards the rich kleptomaniac/bulimic woman and then she ends up getting killed or something. One of the dumbest movies ever but good for a laugh because it's so bad.

Doesn't she have a son named Ace? Or is that the one Liam had with the AllSaints girl? I can't remember. None of them are particularly famous in North America.
