What is this guy's problem. I don't have strong opinions about Amy Winehouse except that addictions are wicked evil and her family should be able to grieve in private.

He's just as bad as the addicts he "treats." He needs to follow the advice he said he would have given Amy (i.e., Go away).


Every time a celebrity addict dies or gets in trouble, this guy is all over it like flies on shit.

What advice would Dr. Drew have given Amy if he reached her in time? "Go away and stay away for a long time. Don't even think about your career. That doesn't matter. It's all about saving your life."

Isn't that basically what she did when she retired to the Caribbean for almost a year? It's knee jerk to blame this on the music industry, but I don't see her career being to blame. She was spending her time doing drugs in the clubs in Camden long before she had a career. Sharon Osbourne said her record label was constantly trying to get her help and it didn't work because "she didn't want it".

He needs to be a meme. Like Dr. Drew's face and then the ridiculous things he says about celebrities he has treated or never even met. I submitted it to memebase.

Over at TWOP in the Celeb Rehab thread they talk about how Dr. Drew makes the sad panda face. I agree, though, the guy needs to shut up and go deal with his own addiction to attention and to celebrities.

I'm getting a little suspicious of Lambert's stories now. It's clear that Amy loved St Lucia and the people, but really, who in their right mind would give a child to Amy to look after? I think there's a chance that this is a way to get money, either just from the paper or perhaps Amy's estate.

If a celebrity was hanging out at your beach bar while trying to kick their well known drug addiction, you wouldn't send your granddaughter off to horse back ride and hold hands on the beach with them? I believe adopting a child is the lesser known 13th step.
