Hey, I hear ya! I suffer from Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, and I HATE ignorant remarks like, "well, just suck it up!" or what have you. Or for depression, which is related to it, "Well, just think happy thoughts!" Grrrr!

BUT, we're not knocking autism here. Really we're not. We're saying that if Jett is autistic, he's not getting help for it, and that's sad.

Plus, Autism is a spectrum-you can have a mild case, like Aspergers, and then at the opposite end, you can have someone who is severely mentally retarded. I'm guessing that's the case with Jett, from what I've read about him.

Be thankful that, unlike with autism, people don’t assume that people with OCD can’t “speak for themselves” and advocate on their own behalf.

Topic? Kelly can be charming on screen; I liked her in What a Girl Wants (but set a movie in London and put Colin Firth in it and I leave my critical brain at the popcorn counter). But girl is nuts. IIRC, one of the reasons she and George Clooney didn't work out was the Scientology crap; they met in Katselas' class at the Beverly Hills Playhouse but he just took the acting classes, while Kelly drank the koolaid.
(OT - I studied at BHP too, not at the same time, and if I'd stayed long enough to move up from Intermediate with Al Mancini to Advanced with Milton, I shudder to think whose beard I might be. It's a pity too, because the acting training is pretty good, and I don't think any of us bothered to wonder why we needed an Ethics officer. Thank heavens I went broke! /end OT)

She's very pretty in those commercials. She does well in the mom roles. I've gotten the impression that her biggest career goal was to be Mrs. Somebody anyway. She seems happy playing Mrs. Revolta.

I'm always curious as to whether it's a real marriage. In a Barbara Walters interview it appeared as if they were trying too hard to look convincingly in love. Like when John grabbed Kelly's boob. "Look were so hot for each other that I will paw my wife on T.V."

Oh, zivvie, how I wish I could substantiate that one! Alas, cannot. I try to be clear in my posts when it is total rumor and when it's something I believe to be valid or have experienced first hand. I heard the Kate/Kelly thing years ago, that they were spotting making out at during lesbian night at a bar in LA. I think it was a blind item somewhere that a friend or colleague decoded for me.

I remember the Charlie Sheen story the way that SwanFlake does. Like Kelly accidentally did it to herself and he was nowhere near the gun. Yeah, right.

noelie, yours is the first mention I've seen on the Celeb boards of the Clam Training Camp Beverly Hills Playhouse. Glad you got out in one piece. Milton's a freak, but not an untalented one, unfortunately. I saw a production of "Romeo and Juliet" he directed back in the early 90s that was terrific.

I have to say I cracked up over the Travolta family pictures-not at Jett, who looks terribly vacant, and that is very sad-but at Ella's expression. Does she ever look pissed! Maybe her parents had just taken away her favorite toy because it had thetans in it or something.
