Bette Davis herself was awed by her beauty. I think she was a damn good actress-Sullavan's Travels, I Married A Witch, So Proudly We Hail-and I think it's sad how her life kind of went into a downward spiral so quickly due to poor attitude, bad films and bad taste in men. She is one of my faves.

I love her. Her hair is to die for. She was so cute in "I Married a Witch," although the movie overall is kind of silly.

I think the movie is great and it is the basis for "Bewitched."

It's too bad I Married a Witch is not available on DVD. It's one of my all-time favorite films.
Frederic March wasn't bad looking in that film either.

If I get married, I'm totally doing my hair in Veronica Lake style for my wedding. How did she get it so shiny? I know she was beyond messed up but when ever I see her all I think about is how pretty she was.

So beautiful. I used to try to wear my hair over my eye when I was a kid after seeing something on TV about her. Reading about her in later years is depressing. |

Hearing about how much of an It Girl she was in her prime, and how she died, makes me wonder what's going to become of today's starlets like Lindsay Lohan and Mischa Barton.
