What a shock, I'd never even heard he was ill. RIP, Lt. Hauk.

Aw man, my favorite Bruno Kirby quote: "When you've loved and lost like Frank has..."

Man! He was one of the few working actors/character actors that I could always spot and name right off the bat.
My favorite was The Fresman. I'm not sure I'll get this right, but... "He gave you the kiss of all kisses! Do you know how big that is?!?"

RIP! I'm sorry but this is just awful...To let other's know while they're being filmed is horrible. This guy seems to be getting off on being the one to tell people!

I agree - I don't like that reporter's approach - had to turn it off. What a thing to do to people.

And they called Robert Davi, Robert DABI?? When you're ambushing a celeb with bad news, at least get their name right. My first memory of Bruno Kirby was in some Disney flick with Kurt Russell. He was one of the high school kids (could have been in Super Dad??). He really stuck out because of his unique voice and I've followed his career since. He managed to go from teen actor to adult character actor very well. He was just as good in comedies as he was in drama. He'll be missed.

Truly tragic. BK was equally great in dramatic and comedic roles. RIP, Bruno.

Yep, he was one of Kurt Russell's pals in Superdad also starring Bob "Col. Hogan" Crane. I think Ed Begley Jr. was in that movie as well.

I was sad to hear about his death. I didn't even know he was sick. RIP.
