Sea world? I guess they don't have Netflix and didn't see that sea world documentary. I need some of Bindi's early morning energy.

Recent pic of Bindi (June 2nd) from her instagram account. Her and her brother really resemble their dad. I'm surprised how well Steve's looks turned out on a girl. She's lovely.

Bindi Irwin will be on DWTS this season. I'm sure Bindi is a cool, fun, intelligent girl when cameras aren't around. But when cameras are around? Annoying! As! Fuck!! I can't stand anyone, I don't care who they are, when they are turned up to 11+. She was actually a little less lit up than usual in her GMA inteview. Apparently early mornings mom can only wind her up to a 10.5. Bad Bindi! You! Must! Sparkle!!!

Yeah. When she is doing her PR poledance she turns into manic Sea World presenter or something. I guess her dad did that, too, but somehow he managed to be less garish when he did it. Maybe because he obviously had a specific persona, and didn't really need to deviate from that.
She, however, can't ape her dad's persona, mostly because she hasn't appeared publicly in the same context as he had. That kind of level-10 mania works if you are hosting a kids' show about animals, but it doesn't work when you are on a morning news program talking about your dead father's legacy.

DWTS will be interesting because I doubt she can keep up the manic persona in rehearsals so maybe we'll get to see the real her a little bit.

Well, she's with Derek. Worst case scenario: They encourage each other's mugging tendencies and it will be perkiness galore. Though he does have a reputation to be rather exacting and drill-based as a teacher, so we'll see how that works out in rehearsals. Even in the filmed practices, I don't think you can keep up a total front for an hour or however long they film. Or can you?

I eagerly await their Pasodoble with Bindi dressed in khaki colored Flamenco skirt and Derek dressed as a crocodile.

Call me evil, but I was hoping she'd get Artem, who tends to be stern and has a temper. (Not with Patti Labelle though since she obviously wasn't in it to win it.) Unfortunately, he's out this season.
