I think she's kinda fun. I just look at her as performance art. I always loved her style in the 90's and the way she just kicked it onstage, regardless of the fact that she can't really sing or dance very well. Go Gwen!

I am very curious as to why everyone is saying she's nuts. Now, I don't know too much about her--only really what I see on TV, and particularly, her "Behind The Music". I thought she seemed immensely likeable on that, and I remember having a newfound respect for her as an artist after seeing it.
So, that said, is bitch truly crazy?

I'm always going to love her for that period in the 90s when No Doubt just kept putting out one good song after another and she was so cool. Also for her Anything You Can Do I Can Do Better attitude to the very male dominated CA music scene. She is a great live performer, with the band anyway.

Having said that her solo stuff makes my ears bleed. Don't quit your dayjob Gwen

Part of the nuts thing might be because she adopted 4 little Japanese girls, and now dresses them up and makes them follow her around on the red carpet and TRL. And she's said in interviews that she is the only one who can see them.

But I love her anyways. I was watching a history of No Doubt show on tv, and it's just amazing how much she grew up since they first started the band, she has matured, but at the same time doesn't have the maturity of your average 35 year old woman. But she hasn't had an average life. She joined No Doubt when she was 17 and has been touring and working with bands for 18 years.

And I love the solo stuff too.

I just saw the video for "Hollaback Girl" this morning for the first time and I kinda liked it! I am sick to death of "Rich Girl" so I'm glad she released "HG" as her next single.

And I think one of the main reasons I love the vid for "HG" is because Pharrell is in it. Anytime he's in a video, the vid is automatically 10x better!

I need Gwen to STOP ruining perfectly good beats. I love the beats/music to both "Rich Girl" and "Hollaback Girl", but she ruins it when she starts to "sing". Between "my cash flow would never end and "this shit is bananas" B-A-N-A-N-A-S!" I would just like for her to drop dead. Okay, not really "dead", just "dead" as in "never sing again, thanks!" Oh, and please get rid of the Japanese Pussy Posse, please.

What I really can't stand about her is that she seems like a big fucking poser. She's a rocker! No, wait! She's a hip-hopper! No, she's actually whatever pays the most money at that particular time. She makes Pink look downright stable.
