That's so sad. He was a great character actor. Even, or maybe especially, in movies that weren't so great or just plain cheesy, he still gave it his bad-guy-all. You gotta admire than kind of professionalism. And he clearly had a sense of humor about it all, too.

Now I have to get out my MST version of OUTLAW OF GOR and watch Jack and his parade of incredible hats. RIP, Jack. You'll be missed.

I first knew him from his hosting of Ripley's Believe It or Not, which was an awesome show. I loved the fact that it would freak me out, but I'd keep watching; his delivery on Ripley's was perfect.

It does seem that way. Rather freaky on some level.

That said, RIP Jack. And let it be known, because of his one handed push-ups during his Oscar (??) win, that's how I always see him. I'll always remember him that way because he did that. Hard to believe he's gone.
