Re: Mr. McFerrin - he's become a popular guest conductor for quite a few major orchestras, the creative director for the St Paul Chamber Orchestra, and teaches children in his spare time. He's also won 8 Grammies. Heh, I think he's one of the people that came out of the late 80's smelling like a rose

I remember going bowling for a school excursion, and the film clip for 'Tell it to My Heart' came on. This was long after 'I'll be your shelter' and Taylor's new smooth-haired look, and no-one believed me that it was the same person.

I saw her do the Disney musical "Aida" on Bway. It was not good. Girlfriend is not an actress, has no comic timing, and has lost a lot of her voice. Sad, cause she could wail back in the day.
