Speaking of artists big in the 80s, I have to bring up Taylor Dayne. Love her voice; she needs to come back.

I think she's a $cieno.
I remember hearing Casey Kasem mention how she was "struggling to pay the rent" and sang Russian folk songs in various NYC Russian bistros or bars. Was this true? Because it's a bit I like to work into my fantasy life as a washed up popstar.

I think she's BFF with Leah Remini, and I also think she was performing in that Scieno Xmas Party photospread a few weeks ago.

I can't believe she and Terence Trent D'Arby have threads now. I feel like I fell off the roof while hanging Chrismukkah lights and woke up in 1989.

I always wished I had a singing voice like hers (well, I wish I had a singing voice period). But hers is so strong and powerful; she could really belt it out. I love "Tell It To My Heart" and "I'll Be Your Shelter"

I loved her singing voice "Tell it to my Heart" was the jam ! I think I was 11 or 12 in living in Germany and I remember seeing/hearing it on a video tape sent by cousin to me.  |
