I'm not a big fan of Leto's but it must be noted that those disturbing photos are the work of artist Terry Richardson, whose specialty is... decadent stuff. Or something. In any case, it's not traditional portraiture by any stretch of the imagination. I mean, hey, the guy can even make Jake Gyllenhaal look creepy. Note: while SFW, the Terry Richardson link has some photos which will... make you stop eating your ice cream. |

That skinny picture of Leto reminded me of Christian Bale in The Machinist. Not a look anybody should be shooting for, IMO.  |

I think he's severly sucking in in that pic. In the other skinny pictures he just looks like a regular skinny guy.

I figure if you're gonna be a piece of shit, have the decency to look the part so we know who you are. ETA: added "allegedly" since I don't have proof on me at the moment. That's creepy? I guess I like the creepy, then. As for Leto's creepiness, I don't think he needed Terry Richardson or anyone else to bring it out for him. He's disgusting, and every time I see a pic of him, I want to take a shower. |

Well, yeah. It's not like the Richardson photo of Jake would dislodge any of my long-held fantasies (and may even add to them). I'm just sayin' that regardless of whether Leto's a "misunderstood artist" or a knob/freak, and there's ample evidence in favour of that, those particular photos probably aren't the best on which to judge him.
