Isn't his production company called NedLos? Doesn't seem like he's trying to hide his 'Ned-ness' to me.
I've read all the bad stuff (and true it seems) about his originality, but I just have to say that he put on one hell of a show for us when we saw him last year. He arrived to the venue late, so that put he first and second show behind. He was obviously tired, by the time of the second show (which we saw). He was onstage for nearly 2 hours and was hilarious, most of the material was new-ish at the time. He let the audience ask questions at the end. Afterwards he went out and sign swag for well over an hour. Buy stuff, don't buy stuff, get your ticket signed, just get your picture taken, whatever. He was really gracious, and after his Hindu/Indian jokes onstage it was funny (to me) when I came up to get my stuff signed and he looked up and smiled then took a second look at me. That's when he noticed the red bindi on my forehead and how I was dressed and pointed to his forehead then to mine and smiled.
So yes I know his theivery, but he gave us a really nice night at a great price ($30 tickets). And so he gets abit of a pass from me now.
Now Ron White's show ($65 tickets) was HORRIBLE...and that's another story!
Back on topic tho, other Latino comedians I would like to see are more of Pablo Francisco, Gabrielle Iglesias, and someone who's name I can't ever remember...lol.
