My boyfriend dragged me to one of his shows and he was painfully bad, so I'm glad Joe Rogan, who is a douche himself, is calling him out on his shady ways. The YouTube link was taken down, but there's a clip of their confrontation on Joe's official site. It's so good!

You know, I'm proud of Joe Rogan for calling him out. Apparently, Joe's been banned from the Comedy Store for his confrontation. But he's right, every other aspect of performance art is regulated. Stealia just takes and takes and takes and never gets called out!

I had a friend who was a stand-up. One night, a guy he shared a bill with went on before him, and did a whole bit that was 100% my friend's. Five minutes of a ten minute set, and my friend then couldn't get out there and do his own material. It was rotten to watch.

Aw, that's messed up. I have a friend who's a comedian too, and they are surprisingly intense for people who make a living out of cracking jokes. I don't understand how someone stealing your material is like "watching your girlfriend get f*cked on stage", but comedians are different cats.

Wow. All my friends love Carlos around here and talk about going to see his show sometime. I'll have to send them the memo that he's a tool.

I saw his standup act on Comedy Central once and thought he was mildly funny so I decided to check his show out. That's when I learned that he's pretty much a one trick pony and his show makes me want to hit someone - mostly him.

He seems like someone who saw that Simpsons episode with the "White guys talk like this.... but black guys talk like dis ..." gag, and said to himself: "Y'know, that is really fresh and original!! But why stop there!?! Mexicans are always crossing the border!! And Asians are good at math!! Why, there is untapped comedy gold out there for the stealing!"

I used to cringe every time I saw him in an ad for his show on Comedy Central. And then, during the Superbowl, he shows up in an ad for ... something. And does the same old schtick: "Immigrants don't speak English well! It's hilarious."

I'd like to see them lock him in a cage with Dane Cook, and only let the first one to come up with an original joke escape alive. They would both starve to death, but only after failing to find anything worth stealing from each other.

He used to be good at least in the early 90s. George Lopez is better IMO.

I am also glad that Joe confronted him on his stealing, and speak up for the comics who had material stolen from them. Did Joe say that "Carlos" is half German? What?

Mencia has a unique ability to steal material and make it less funny. How did he get that show on comedy central in the first place?
