Hooded stare, thin lips, a forehead that looks like the curve of the moon, a face so craggy that it could have been carved on Mt. Rushmore... I'd totally hit that. Star of The Perfect Storm (which I watched last night; hence the thread); Black Hawk Down; Prison Break; uh, Invasion; and Armageddon... and according to his IMDB entry, a load of other projects (he was the voice of the marriage counselor in Mr & Mrs Smith!) that I will be Netflixing forthwith. Any other Fichtner fans out there?

Yeah, he totally does it for me too.
I first noticed him in Armageddon. He was by far the best thing about that movie!

I flipped past The Perfect Storm last night just as his character was getting in a fight with John C. Reilly's character. His arms were like whoa. I'm not used to seeing him bulked up.
He was great on Invasion. Too bad he's associated with such a clunky season of Prison Break.
Part of me will always think of him as Josh Snyder from when I used to get home from school and watch my tape of As the World Turns.

He was one of the best things about Go. I adore him.

At first I didn't like his Prison Break character but he has really grown on me. He's had some great scenes, even if it's just him alone, looking as if he's contemplating suicide (which I think will be Mahone's end one day). Haven't seen Fichtner in anything else.

bauersbiatch (aren't we all), Armageddon came out when I was in my late teens, and the emerging Owen Wilson (then just a butterscotch pony rather than the tabloid stallion of now) was from then on my celebrity crush for a couple of years.
However, now that I'm kissing thirty, I find myself far more drawn to Fichtner and his ilk - men who look like they've lived it up and drawn it down and who are wise in the ways of a number of worlds; and most of all, are comfortable in their own craggy skin.
You know you're addicted to CPMCoG when... you track your changes in life by the passage of celebrity crushes...

Totally! I love this guy. First got into him in Invasion, and i really wanted Mariel to show some more love towards him, as i always got the impression off them that it was more one sided on his part. I totally started researching him on the net after seeing a few eps of invasion - and was shocked to find that he had been the cheating 'life-partner' (the movie made a point of how they were unmarried but a long-term couple with kids) of Miranda Otto in the movie Julia Comes Home, because i recall when i saw that movie thinking that she was too beautiful for him (i totally love Miranda Otto's looks, albeit in a hetro way). Now though i think he is sexy and appealing beyond belief. I might try and rent that movie now, so i can enjoy the romantic scenes between them! Anyone got pics of him and his real life wife?

He is, to me, the hottest guy on Prison Break.
