He gives me a Zach-Braff-in-training vibe.
This is not a good thing.

He gives me a Zach-Braff-in-training vibe. This is not a good thing. All I can say is - he doesn't do a thing for me. And just the thought of seeing his soft, pillbury dough boy belly just causes me to gag. I like my men manly, not gummy. And his attitude sucks. He thinks he's the next great Brando. Give me Clive Owens any damn day of the week!. Now there's a man. Not pretty. But he is mighty tasty. Yum.

I searched, but I couldn't find a thread for him (and before doing that, I searched to see if he's legal, and he is, thank God). Anyway... when did this kid get so hot? I haven't seen Disturbia yet, but I am definitely going to see it now. I've heard that he comes off as pretty assy in interviews, but I haven't witnessed that for myself. Thoughts? obviously this post was written by someone trying to promote this guy. He's motherfreaking ugly. And he's tiny (in every sense of the word). He's is as hot as a ice-cube. and gummy looking as well. Why are we wasting our time with this boy. Yuck Wow, yeah, you unmasked my big secret. Guess I better 'fess up... guys, I've been here all this time because I'm on Shia's PR team. I thought it wise to beat around the bush for close to 1000 posts or so before finally promoting him. So... er... go see Disturbia. Even though i haven't even seen it.

I wondered all these years why the industry was making such a big deal of him. I knew nothing about him but thought a fuss was being made. I went to see Disturbia and was kind of impressed by him. I think what is working for him is not any hotness factor (although I realize some on this board find him attractive), but his every day, regular guy, accessible vibe is probably why he is believable. He is a really natural actor and you feel you are watching the guy down the street in your neighbourhood. That is an important quality to have in film. I can believe that a lot of guys who watch his films, especially Disturbia, would be able to relate to his regular guy-ness.
And, Disturbia is really good. I was surprised. I did not expect much since it is a horror film, but it was different and creative. I also really liked the Asian guy in it. Very funny, convincing and also has that regular guy appeal that is relateable to a lot of teens.

I knew no-body could like Footballer's Wives that much! It was all a cunning plan! As for Shia LeBouf, he seemed ok enough on SNL. Other then that, I've never seen him in anything.

I wouldn't say he's hot but he is a cutie. I've been watching him since Even Stevens so I guess I still think of him as a little boy.
I only caught him in few episodes but I liked him in Project Greenlight. I think the kid is really talented. Holes and The Greatest Game were really good and not the usual choices for a teen actor.

I liked The Battle of Shaker Heights a lot. I wasn't sure what to expect, but it tuned out to be good story-telling.

I saw an interview with him on Leno a few years ago and he did seem smug- I chalk it up to him being quite young and trying to seem like an adult. I saw him on Saturday night live a few weeks ago and I thought he was really good. Then I saw an interview with him and he seemed very humble, and funny. He is in one of my favorite SNL skits in a long time. THIS skit. His stint on SNL made me laugh more than I have in a long time at an SNL episode. Edited because I am an imbecile and just realized how to post links correctly! Sorry

I must be missing something, because that skit was really disturbing and not AT ALL funny to me. Anyway, topic, I think he's a cutie and I loved Holes and my kids adored Even Stevens, so it's all good.
