She's got a "Cooking with Paris" video up on her youtube channel, brought to my attention by The Guardian. Thanks, Stuart Heritage! It's basically a trainwreck, with her hair hanging in every. thing. At about 8:00 she's put meat in to saute, then goes looking for a cooking implement, doesn't know if she's "got the right one" - she brings out giant stainless steel spatulas; so, no. It's completely unintentionally hilarious. Wait, did you watch this? Doing the Lord's work, I see. 😂 I did start watching it because I was curious how her kitchen looks. But it was very clear that it wasn't her kitchen at all -- "I can't find anything! It's a new kitchen for me!". Um yea riiiiiight. You rented a sound stage kitchen. And no cook with long flowing hair would feel comfortable cooking like that! Maybe her lasagna turned out ok ( I said I watched it, not finished it!) but I fear there were several blonde weave strands up in there.

Why is she wearing leather motorcycle gloves to cook? So gross. And the hair is just nasty. Put it in a ponytail for 20 minutes, hunny. Also, I love how she gets lasagna noodles (that she "steams"??!?) on the floor but her facial expression is like "oh well! The Help will be cleaning all of this anyway!" I stopped watching when it was obvious to me that she didn't take the gloves off to wash her hands after carrying the dog around.

That was so gross as well! "Here's your plate of lasagna but ignore the blonde Muppet hair and chihuahua hair bits and sneeze remnants!"
Edit: I also had to laugh when she said that her mom makes full Thanksgiving dinners. Yeah, sure. Here is how that goes down:
Wednesday, Wine O'Clock:
Kathy picks up the phone and drunk dials the concierge. Kathy: "Hey! You guys working?" 'The Help': "Yes, ma'am." Kathy: Well "I need a full Thanksgiving spread delivered at noon on Thursday. CHOP CHOP!" *burp* 'The Help": "OK, ma'am."
Thursday, 11:00AM:
'The Help': Hello Ms. Kathy, the food is here." Kathy: "ARGH!!! WHY IS MY WINE GLASS HALF EMPTY? WHY IS THE FOOD LATE? *HICK* QUICK, PUT THE FOOD ON TO COOK IN MY GUCCI DINNERWARE! BEFORE THE GUESTS ARRIVE! *HICK!*" Paris: "Did someone like, say 'coke'?"

I don't really know a lot about her, so that's why I watched it, I was surprised by her flat voice. She is whiteness personified. I particularly like the part where she points out that there is no onion or garlic in her lasagne, so to sum up: layers of bland ground beef, white pasta, and 2 white cheeses, jeeeeez. Also, it may just be the recipe I'm used to, but isn't there supposed to be a final layer of lasagne noodles on top of the meat, covered with mozzarella??

I hate that you all are going to make me check out this mess for myself. Remember, on Youtube you can select a "1.5" speed enhancement through the settings button, so you don't waste that much time.

2.0 x speed is even better. It's what I use to watch those "Titanic/Britannic/Lusitania Sinks in Real Time" videos. Yes, I'm a sick puppy, but not as bad as the people who felt the need to make the videos in the first place.

Has anyone seen "This is Paris" (streaming on YouTube)? Maybe I'm an easy mark but I came away with a lot of sympathy for her. She details her experience at Provo Canyon School where she was sent as a teenager, including being forcibly taken there in the middle of the night. She alleges abuse, beatings and being put in solitary confinement. I think what surprised me most is that she supposedly had never discussed what happened to her there with her parents until she tells her mother in the film. From her mom's reaction and her discussions in the film with Nicky about the family dynamics I can find that believable. She also seems pretty disciplined and driven, especially when I think about her peers in the 2004-era and where they are now.

I watched this morning. It did shed a lot of light on her and, tbh, in hindsight she truly was treated awful in the press and by gossip hounds like Lainey (she had some really vile name for her--I can't remember what it was). Also, geez, her parents' handling of what they saw as her out-of-controlness as a teenager was pretty intense. Coming for her in the middle of the night and taking her away? What the hell, Hilton parents?
