God I hate Al Sharpton, but for the first (and I am pretty sure the last time ever), we are on the same page.
Paris's ass needs to be hauled back to jail and Lee Bacca can keep her company for violating a judge's ruling.

From My Way News/APOk, fine. All that is understandable, almost. But the Sheriff's Department and the Hiltons maintain Paris got out because of ILLNESS, not overcrowding or excessive expense. At least those two excuses you could almost pretend it had nothing to do with special treatment. But the way they handled it and the excuses they gave just reek of celebrity favortism, which is what is causing the uproar. So much yes. One consistent thing in the justice system is that judges HATE being ignored, overruled, or made to feel useless. Paris and Sheriff Baca managed to do all three yesterday. The judge is going to be fighting mad. Also, for some reason I don't completely understand, Al Sharpton has a lot of power and thus it is a bad thing to get on his bad side. Heh, wouldn't it be funny if Al Sharpton, of all people, was the one who took Paris down? I think the Hiltons and Sheriff Baca really underestimated how much society hates Paris and what she stands for. It's one thing for her to be inexplicably famous because she's rich -- in the long run, as irritating is it is, it's just a happenstance of the media and preteen girls and we can blame it on the stupidity of the younger generation and hope it'll change someday. But flaunting the fact that she can get special treatment from the government, especially the criminal justice system, is like a slap in the face. Sheriff Baca is representing the local government, California, and ultimately America, and by condoning her, her behavior, and the fact that she deserves ANYTHING because one of her ancestors happened to be a pretty good business man, he made us all stand up and say "Oh, HELL no."

Stupid. Spoiled. Whore.Continue discussion on the fucking waste of space. Dwan, may I send you a truckload of cupcakes? I promise not to call the paps to film the delivery. Paris Hilton made me agree with Al Sharpton. I think I hate her even more for that. Amen. Throw that skank ho back in jail!

The Today show had a defense lawyer on this morning talking about Paris. This guy was ridiculous. First of all, he was complaining that Paris is gotten had rough break since the beginning. The other commentator noted that Paris would probably keep drinking and driving and eventually kill someone if she wasn't punished. The defense lawyer's response was chilling, he stated that if/when she kills someone then she can go to jail and he said this in a very callous tone. I hate these people who think DUIs are no big deal.

I think this was interesting: I was the one who posted this initially and what I forgot about the Dahmer incident was that he AND another inmate were beaten to death with a broomstick (that must have taken a long time). So if someone wanted to "shank" Paris Hilton (and become a celebrity gangster themselves), I'm sure it could happen.

Wasn't Dahmer in general population? Paris was in her own cell 23 hours a day. The risk to her was minimal I'm sure. Plus, while she's a total waste of space, and a whore, and an irresponsible, pampered twit, she didn't kidnap people and eat them.
She got out IMO because of a pre-arranged deal. They had her psychiatrist visiting her and probably hoped the 'stress' angle or whatever they're using would be enough to cover their asses when they let her out after 3 days.
All jails are different, but I think most use a 2 days for 1 rule of thumb when deciding to let people out for good behavior and/or reducing the population. 3 days of a 43 day sentence isn't normal, I dont care what anybody says.
People like Paris, who drive drunk but don't hurt anybody, are very lucky. They're lucky that they were caught before killing or maiming someone. Drunk drivers make me sick to my stomach. And drunk drivers who have almost limitless access to cab fare really make me sick!!

Okay so do they let every inmate out on house arrest or probation that gets threatened by another inmate? It's jail, not a freaking walk in the park. Yes, they should all have enough protection from the guards not to get hurt or killed by the other inmates but someone shouldn't get that level of special treatment to avoid it either. I'm not saying she deserved to be hurt but it's JAIL! It's supposed to be a horrible awful place that you don't want to go to at all. You can't do the time, don't do the crime, blah blah blah.

It is not supposed to be a pleasant experience, with organic, macrobiotic food cooked to order and 1200 thread-count sheets. Going there is supposed to be a punishment, and the possibility of going there - or going back there - is supposed to be a deterrent to committing crimes. You don't get to walk early because you find jail unpleasant and upsetting. Jail being unpleasant is kind of the point. Maybe I'm being unfair to her, though. Someone probably put a pea under her mattress and the poor dear couldn't sleep, either. That would kill anyone's appetite. ETA: If she goes back inside (pleaseGodpleaseGodpleaseGodpleaseGod), she'll have to get yet another cavity search, won't she? Awe. Some.

So if someone wanted to "shank" Paris Hilton (and become a celebrity gangster themselves), I'm sure it could happen. It's possible, although by all accounts she didn't have much if any chance to have contact with others. Plus, if the rumor was true about Paris' fellow jailbirds being supportive of her and telling her she got a raw deal, then any fears of danger may have been unfounded. I agree with those who've said that a deal was probably worked out in advanced, down to the times of her admission and release so it would count as 5 days. Her disgusting defense lawyer and Mark Geragos are the type of lawyers that give the whole profession a bad reputation in the public eye.

While I'm not wishing that anyone's family member be killed/injured by a drunk driver, don't any of those in Paris' camp KNOW of anyone who has been killed or injured by a drunk driver? If not, do they have such a total lack of imagination to understand that drinking and driving is a very serious, dangerous offense? How fucking stupid are these people?
