How fucking stupid are these people? Stupid enough to associate with Paris Hilton.

I was reading The New York Post today, when I came across this huge full-page ad that read:
We Love Paris.
~ The Darling Family ~
...Right.

They understand that it's a serious, dangerous offense. For everyone else.

I can't really hate on her lawyers that much. I mean, they are getting paid to keep her out of jail, it doesn't mean they truly believe that she should be out of jail, it's just their job. Her family, though? They are assholes. I've gotten in minor trouble before, and my mom let me take my punishment, because it's the only way you can learn your lesson. And I did, I'm straight and narrow now! Jail is horrible. Worse place I've ever been in my entire life, and I was only there for 22 hours. I have never done anything that could possibly get me there again, and I never will.
Anyway, back to hate. This will be 11 Central time, right? I might have to take my lunch early. Oh please let their be cameras in that courtroom. Stupid bitch.

The Today show had a defense lawyer on this morning talking about Paris. This guy was ridiculous. First of all, he was complaining that Paris is gotten had rough break since the beginning. The other commentator noted that Paris would probably keep drinking and driving and eventually kill someone if she wasn't punished. The defense lawyer's response was chilling, he stated that if/when she kills someone then she can go to jail and he said this in a very callous tone. I hate these people who think DUIs are no big deal. Even though I hate to agree with anything that makes Paris Hilton sound good, this is a good point (although it's made in an extremely stupid way). Paris didn't kill anyone. She should only be punished for the crimes that she did commit. It's also possible that she really is getting a rough break because she was made into an example, and anyone else who'd done multiple parole violations after being arrested for drunk driving would have been let out of jail after a couple of . . . ah, no, I don't buy it. A regular person can't even get house calls from a psychiatrist let alone multiple visits in prison. She bought her way out.

OT: apparently it was very fishy how he died. He and the other inmate were left unsupervised for about 1-2 hours in a gymnasium, and it happened then. So the theory is the guards knew it would happen and didn't care.
Back on topic: Paris is a waste of space. I'm glad the Sheriff is being called to appear as well and answer for this. I hope LA voters will remember this stunt on election day and pick the other candidate. His slogan should be "Tough on crime, unless you're rich and famous."

OT: Dahmer was with two other inmates, they were supposed to clean the bathroom, but you're right, they were left unsupervised for about 2 hours and there were no cameras in the bathroom. Paris' family is NOT doing her any favors by not letting her go to jail. If her behavior continues she'll only get worse. She'll become addicted to being a party girl; I can see her like this when she's forty.

But Paris wasn't in PRISON .. big difference between that and a county jail.
I blame the sheriff above all else. The lawyers are paid to get her out, of course SHE wants to get out, and her family wants her out - since when does a sheriff LISTEN?
