That is a refreshing interview to read--she actually sounds like she means it. And since she does seem out of the nightclub-attention getting-type scene, I'll believe that she does.
I see the Winona Ryder clone look, definitely, but not as pretty (and with too many teeth).
Her acting is okay, as long as she doesn't have too stretch herself as an actress. She definitely should stay away from period pieces--I saw the trailer for P&P and I can't say she adds anything to it.
Probably the thing I like about her the most is the way she has gone on record saying she knows she's flat-chested but has no problem with it and is not interested in getting anything done to enhance her breasts.

I like her too for her honesty, and not thinking she is hot shit unlike other starlets like Lindsay Lohan. She stated something similar somewhere else. I don't know if I heard it on Et, Access Hollywood, etc or just read it. But, they told her that she was beautiful or flawless. She answered something to the effect of "are you kidding me? I have terrible skin. If it weren't for my excellent dermotologist and the excellent make-up artists, I would be butt ugly." For that, I'll always give her props.

Yep. Ditto. She's just a nice person. I think she'll grow as an actress and have a long career ahead of her.

Cute InStyle pictures here. It's the last set of pictures on the page. Love the first picture in the Oscar de la Renta dress.

I don't think I've ever read an interview of Keira's where she wasn't self-depreciating. It's gotten to the point where it annoys me more than it endears me towards her. Self-depreciating comments are part of the regular routine, like Fishstick referencing her father's death or break-up with Brad. In fact, Keira seems to go to great lengths to keep from paying herself a compliment. I remember one interview (after some critical comments about herself already) where someone asked her about her hobbies or something and she said that she likes to draw, but isn't very good.
To be fair, part of it has to be the journalist's fault. I'm always more interested in hearing about upcoming roles and aspirations than a girl's opinions on the quality of her t&a. Why people have to ask her about her body image is beyond me. I'd love to hear an actress inventory her body parts ala Olivia from Twelfth Night when asked about it.
Her acting still bugs, and will continue to do so until she manages to put in a performance that isn't exactly the same as everything else I've seen her in. Well, that's not quite true. I've seen her do Ultra-Modern-Spunky-Fiesty-Independant Girl (Jules/Elizabeth Swann/Gwen) AND flat, undefined character who would be Ultra-Modern-Spunky-Fiesty-Independant Girl if she were explored (Guinevere/Juliet/Sabe).

Me too! It's hard to explain but for some reason it irritates me to the point that it makes me dislike her. I hate to nitpick on such a petty thing, but the more I hear her voice, the more I can't stand it.
Otherwise, she seems ok.

Her voice sometimes sounds like she has marbles under her tongue. It's really noticeable during her first scene in "Pirates" where she meets with Will and says "How many times must I ask you to call me Elizabeth?".

Was watching the P&P trailer where she is talking to "Jane" under a blanket and I couldn't understand her at all. I sure hope the rest of the movie is not like that.

Oh yeah. In the Domino trailer, she sounds like she is about to break into "The Rain in Spain"! It is sort of lispy, but KK doesn't really have a lisp. It seems like some sort of actorly tick rather than the way she really talks, and that is what gets on my nerves.
