Is Kirsty Alley still into it though? Yes, she is. She mentioned it on "The View" not too long ago when they asked her how she kicked her coke habit. She also said somewhere else that to encourage her to stick to her diet, everytime she cheats and eats something bad, she has to donate $100 to the Co$ to punish herself. They're probably sending pizzas to her house 'round the clock to squeeze as much cash out of her as they can.

Ha! I love it! I can see them constantly sending over boxes of chocolates and making sure the craft services table on her show is fully stocked with donuts.
I knew for sure KA was still in it when someone asked her if she bought the whole TC/Katie Holmes thing, and she was all, "Of course! He's madly in love!"

We can only fucking wish, eh? [/verymeanhumor]
Explains the weight gain, darn shame she's also in thrall to this thing. God it's sickening. I bet if they want her to be profitable again they'll just give her coke, slim her down, and then market it as their own special way of recovery. Man, these people do deserve the Nazi treatment, purely sickening.
'Powdered' donuts, I imagine.
She'll say anything to keep the free food acoming..or maybe crack, who knows. They've definitely got their hand up her ass.

Do you think that the celebs really believe in the whole "body Thetans" theory and stuff? It just sounds so implausible and ridiculous. Or do they just believe in the "self help" aspects? Like if Oprah called Tom Cruise on it, would he say he believed in clams and space aliens and whatever else? (not exactly sure how the story goes...)

I'm not sure how much these folks are willing to buy, but from what I understand, they don't spring the "thetan" stuff on you until later. You work your way up through levels, and you have to hit a certain level before you learn about the clams (the stuff in articles and on the internet about this stuff has been leaked by former members and since Scientology monitors their members' internet use, they make sure they don't see this stuff).
I think they must believe it on some level, or else why would they continue to pump money into this organization for self-help stuff they could get from regular counselors or support groups, or heck, even the self-help section of the bookstore?
People are willing to buy weird stuff. My friend is a vet and she just told me about how she recently treated a Sphinx (hairless) cat, and while the owner was a very nice, normal-seeming lady, she completely believes that Sphinxes are descended from aliens that bred with cats in Canada.

Apparantly Tiny Tom got to Jada Pinkett Smith during the filming of 'Collateral.' In interviews she now talks about how she tutors her children using L. Ron Hubbard's "Study Technology." Though I don't think they've actually become full clams yet.
Someone needs to inform her of Hubbard's very racist statements about how blacks are inherently stupid. Why don't these celebrities that the clams try to recruit ever to a simple little google search before they start employing the Co$ to influence their children's education?

I doubt that Cruise or any celebrity even knows about the body thetans. I would bet they keep that part from all public figures in case it gets leaked out to the public. Tom is a loose cannon right now, they can't have him spouting off at the mouth about all that secret clam knowledge. It would make the Co$ seem just wacked to the public. Plus I read somewhere (note: that other site) that they don't tell the newcommers about the aliens and things because it could blow there minds? Or something? They have to be clear before they can hear it. I just think they know how ridiculous it really is so they don't tell just anybody. They'd rather just have your money.

???Since Oprah is such a big fan of John T, Kirsty A & Tom C. and she has all this BIG money, how have they not suckered her into joining them? Or have they?

A scientologist defending Cruise. More reactions here.If one more person compares scientology's cool reception from the world to what has happened to the Jews, I may flip my lid. Tom's used that line, and now others are. I wonder if it's a new PR spin. If so, I think they seriously miscalculated. A lot of people who never gave the clams a second thought before could become very offended if they hear clams comparing their negative reception to the shoah! BTW, if you want to have a bit of fun, go read the on-line reviews of Dianetics on Amazon. I was rolling on the floor. I'm almost tempted to buy a used copy for $.01 to see how moronic it really is.

Yes and that's exactly how being murdered in their millions probably made the Jews feel. Jackass.
