SNL is on point tonight--so far the highlight is a Serial-inspired sketch, but the rest is great. Cecily Strong's Sarah Koenig is so close it was halfway through before I realized it wasn't the real Sarah.

I thought the sketch making fun of the Christmas Jammies family was mean-spirited. The Serial sketch was funny.
Am I too old to like the One Direction song?

I liked the second song quite a bit. It was sweet and jangly. I agree about the Christmas video--I thought it started off okay but it kind of rambled and went on far too long.

I actually love the new One Direction album and both of the songs they played tonight. Boy, are they looking tired though, especially Harry! I think all his partying is finally taking its toll on his face. And Zayn just looks sleazy.
Tonight was the first time in a long while I've watched a whole SNL episode. It was pretty funny.

Whiskers R' We captured some of the absurdity of Dog Show.

Oh dear Lord, Dog Show. I loved that sketch so much. My friend actually named her dog Mr. Bojangles.

Kristin Wiig, how can we miss you if you never go away?

The raccoons sketch also has me crying. It was like the Sweeney Sisters came back for one insane moment.

The Dr. Evil sketch was awesome, it was so cool to see Mike Myers again.

And Sam Smith's Somber Christmas had potential to be an amusing sketch, too.
I'm normally pretty neutral on Kristen Wiig but I really don't think she added much.
