The movie co-stars Jenny McCarthy and Carmen Electra? The jokes just write themselves.

Who in the hell would finance something that bad? I can't imagine going back to my financial backers telling them I had just put their money into a movie where some blonde chick has her period all over the chips aisle in a local grocery. How could I live with myself?

I'm not surprised somebody financed it. Look at all the shit that Hollywood pumps out every year.
But I'm somewhat mystified by the fact she decided to write her own movie so she could could star in it as a strong woman, and then inflict so much humiliation on the character.

She doesn't bug me all that much really. I think she is really really super pretty. And her first book was really funny.
It just seems Hollywood, herself included, doesn't know what to do with her. She is gorgeous girl who doesn't take herself seriously and has a sense of humour about herself. What do you do with that?
People are uncomfortable seeing a beautful woman in scatalogical humor type situations that they don't mind seeing men in. Noone really complained out the poop and pee jokes in Dumb and Dumber. Will Ferrell has faked wet his pants on two different shows I've seen - an awards show and Saturday Night Live. Ben Stein had potty and fart problems in that movie he did with Jennifer Aniston. Adam Sandler has that kind of humor in his movies. And Ha, Ha they're so funny. Monty Python had vomiting Mr. Creosote in The Meaning of Life, and it's a classic.
What is the difference if she does it? In their case, we assume they are inflicting humiliation on a character. In her case, we assume she is inflicting humiliation on herself? Seems like a double standard.
I probably will see the movie when it comes out on video or PPV.

She's starting to look like and anchor woman. And not in a good way.
Very stiff generic-looking blonde.

She was on Leno last week saying "My movie comes out today," buy I haven't heard anything about it.

She looks like a slutty version of Reese Witherspoon.

Why do I like this person??
She's on Regis & Kelly now and I just can't help it - I like her. I call it the Denise Richards factor because I'll never be able to figure out why I like either one of them.

I call it the Denise Richards factor because I'll never be able to figure out why I like either one of them. She has the opposite effect on me. I just turn the channel as soon as I see her show up. I did catch her telling a story (on Leno?) about how she was saying out loud how horny she was and her kid heard it and repeated it. The story came off as something she made up because she thought it would be funny. I just can't see myself standing in the kitchen lamenting out loud (to myself) how horny I am. Hey, but that's just me. Call me normal.
