I kind of like her. I can't help it. She's stupid but I find her somewhat appealing. Maybe because she's not afraid to look like an utter fool.
But damn, her son is going to be humiliated when he gets older and reads the book his mother wrote about him ("Baby Laughs.") I skimmed it at a bookstore the other day and it's got chapter titles like "His poo is green!" and such. Klassie.

I read somewhere that Jenny McCarthy-- yes, the blonde MTV darling of 1997-- was trying to start an alternative school for "Indigo Children." Which led me to discover this site She interviews Doreen Virtue, y'all! How fae. Is she annoying or endearingly goofy? Discuss.
I used to be in the endearingly goofy camp, but that Indigo site is a little weird. It sounds like something somebody came up with to make parents of kids with disabilities like ADD feel like their kids are special instead of problematic (which is how they're often treated). Which...is fine, I guess. I mean, as long as you're doing whatever you need to do to help and support your kid, I guess it's okay to pretend he's an alien or an angel or whatever makes you feel good. At the same time, I always wonder what it is about someone that makes it necessary for them to create or buy into a fantasy like that. It seems like there's an inability to cope with reality. I hope I'm not being offensive.
Regardless, she sounds ripe for Scientology.

I think she seems likable because she is rather non-threatening. She is a goof and doesn't try to hide it. She doesn't seem to put on airs or be what you'd expect from a Playboy playmate (aloof/sexy/come hither/a vixen).

I really like her. Ever since she went on some talk show and scribbled all over an airbrushed photo of herself, pointing out where they adjusted her image (lengthening her calves, of all things), and acted like a general goof, I thought she was kind of cool.
She seems like she's trying a bit too hard to be the "girl next door" sometimes, but I think she's genuinely silly and fun and very willing to poke fun of herself. She's not the sharpest tool in the shed, but I think she gets that, too.

What exactly does her fame rest on? Her tv show flopped ten years ago. Why was she famous to even get a network show?

I think it had to do with naked nude nakedness and her enormous fake breasts.

I used to like her until I made the mistake of renting her last movie, Dirty Love. My God, My eyes. It was the most inhumanly possible piece of sh** I have ever had the pleasure of watching.
