Correct me if I'm wrong (I mean that: correct me, because I truly may be wrong), but isn't child support allocated based on ensuring that the child has a similar experience at both parents' homes? This post would probably be a lot more helpful if I re-checked with google before typing it, but I'm really comfortable talking out of my ass, so you're welcome. A little while ago, me and a friend were talking whether or not there was a legal advantage to getting married anymore, and after some googling, it seemed that there was a rather large difference between what people got for child support and what people got as alimony or a mixture of alimony and child support. Even for billionaires, child support seemed to top out around $25,000. Mel B was reportedly receiving $50,000 from Eddie Murphy, but we both thought that was probably spin from Mel B's camp. There was also a story about how Pdiddy's child support numbers were revealed to be greatly exaggerated by the media when one of his children's mothers took him to court. Also, it seemed that the nature of the parents relationship (whether or not it was long-term) seemed to factor into the size of the payments. All of this is to say, from what I remember reading, child support payments usually aren't as otherworldly as alimony payments and Louis' sounds right in line with what a lot of other bigwigs are paying. On top of that, I'm willing to bet Louis' net worth has been exaggerated in the media.* (*As an example, I have read that Ed Sheeran was worth $57m about a dozen times over the last few weeks. That sounds outrageous to me, so I finally did some digging and his last tour generated $60m. He probably took home a fraction of that. )

She's not super private. She's been photographed taking the baby out of the house nearly every day since he's arrived. She has an Instagram. It was wiped clean when she announced her pregnancy before the end of her first trimester, and she has only a handful of posts on it (which, one could argue, is understandable given the attention she knew she'd receive). Yet she/her camp have been accused of falsifying photos, leaking Google image photos and photos of her cousin and passing them off as herself, and other odd behavior. As I said earlier in this thread, I think there is a lot of weirdness with this story. Child support figures are all what her family is asking; nothing has been settled yet. I think there is more to come on this. It's not over yet. Legitimate accusations, or ones coming from the batshit 'Larry' shippers who make the people who think Benedict Cumberbatch is carrying a plastic doll around look sane? I hope he's paying her enough money to hire really good security, because I wouldn't be remotely surprised if they tried to attack her or attack or kidnap the baby.

I think it's a mix of Larry shippers conspiracy theories and general weirdness. I also don't think the 1D guys are worth that much individually. Everything was divided by 5.
In other news, Zayn released a song and video where he mumbles a lot, Harry turns 22 tomorrow, Niall's hiding out in Australia, and Liam's probably still alive somewhere.

I've never paid much attention to them (well, except for the 4 or 5 songs I put on my iPod, ha!), but I'm so easy that all it took was this old Carpool Karaoke to make me sort of love them. Whether that's a credit to James Corden or them, I couldn't say... Also, I've never understood the fascination with Harry Styles based on still photos, but he's strangely magnetic to watch in motion. And he's actually the only one I could have picked out of a crowd as being in this band, I had to look them up to find out who was who, but if I saw these guys separately, I wouldn't know why they were famous except for him.

On a slightly different note, I think James Corden is the most annoying git in the world. I loved "Gavin and Stacey," but I just find his persona incredibly grating. He is inane to the extreme and he reminds of a child who must have all then attention all the time.
