Snoop Dogg's comments on Iggy recently in the New York Times: Never mind that not too long ago he and Iggy had a Twitter beef. And as much as I dislike her, he was completely wrong and gross.

I don't know much about Iggy, I've just seen her in photos and online articles. Whenever I see her, I feel a little sad because she reminds me of the girl in high school who was always trying desperately to be cool but never quite getting it right. Her clothing always looks a little cheap and she's trying out trends left and right. But I haven't ever seen a picture of her that makes me say "wow" just ones that make me feel sad.

She tried doing pop music, evidence of that is on youtube. Where you will also see her body was not as defined much less her ass.
Her ghost writer also blabbed that he wrote Fancy so yeah, completely talentless hack.
As for her racist tweets, they are real because before she hit big when that was happening that was talked about left and right on ontd.

Yeah. Snoop's missing the main beef people have with Iggy. Macklemore sort of hit a nerve for people who hate hipsters (and there are some legit privilege issues with him sometimes), but his music is personal and honest, at least. Most of his album is about his struggles with addiction. People have a problem with Iggy because she is 100% affectation. Do any of her songs cover any aspect of her real life?

What did she do to her face? Nose job? Chin implant? Something is different and her face is freaking me out.

True confession: I think " Murda Bizness" ft. TI is catchy (and the video is amusing). I was able to tolerate "Fancy" because of Charlie XCX singing the hook and the video was a ripoff of homage to Clueless. I haven't liked too much of her other stuff.

It probably will look a little better once everything settles, but it's looking like hot ass right now ... especially in motion.. Surprised she felt the need to get so much work done. Her physical appearance is like 95% of the reason she gets any attention.

Whoa. Her speaking voice is like Australian Marissa Cooper.

In some ONTD photos she looks like an altogether different, stiffer, plastic person. I wonder if a drop-off in sales drove her to assess her 'assets' (looks) and make drastic changes. Her story has been interesting to follow: I never made a purchase of her music but thought she was vague & harmless, then "Fancy" hit & she made all sorts of jerky comments on twitter. Saw a few interviews & felt TI's presence was odd and puppeteer-ish. The Internet truly acted against her in this regard; she might've held on to some sense of mystery with well edited print interviews and photo shoots. Ultimately I don't believe she's talented: she lucked into some catchy songs with good producers/ collaborators and has no personality to otherwise sustain herself. Lord knows, some really horrible people have die-hard fans (see Chris Brown, Charlie Sheen et al) but at some point they have to actually produce something the masses want to devour. She's not doing that.
eta: Snoop has been so out of the loop & high for so long I can't take anything he says seriously.

I feel like a huge part of why the public seemed to turn on her is because of her social media presence. She's not only grating and untalented, but she had to respond to every, single critical tweet, blog post and unappreciated glance in her direction. Even the mainstream media started reporting on it. I remember at one point Entertainment Tonight did a vaguely unflattering story about her (I forget exactly what it was, but it was pretty benign) and she tweeted that as a result of the story, she wouldn't grant them interviews in the future. The fact that a rapper with one album under her belt was delusional enough to burn that bridge and think that they were the ones who would live to regret it was astounding to me.
