New York magazine's latest cover features scores of Bill's victims. I'm actually curious what he will do now. He's been condemned by his own words in the deposition. Will he finally just slink away into obscurity? I can't see what he possibly can gain by trying to fight this. His legacy is ruined. The entire world knows he's a rapist. That's what he should do. His career and legacy are toast. Every time he or his wife open their mouths, they just make it worse. He's got plenty of money, so he and Camille should quietly just slink off somewhere and live out the rest of their days.

Had he not opened his mouth in the first place none of this shit would have come out. Believe me, if he was doing this shit, so were most male movie and TV stars of that era; like someone once told me, if a black man is doing something bad, nine times out of ten the whites are doing the same but worse. The difference is that they have the good sense to keep their mouths closed and don't spout off about how immoral some people are. I mean the casting couch and stuff like that are real. I read that article about Jackie Fox of The Runaways; I'm sure that manager, Kim Fowley raped her as well as other women. But he had the good sense to keep his mouth closed and when he died, everybody went on about how great a man he was.

I agree that Cosby was definitely not the only celebrity doing this kind of thing. Maybe Cosby's victims speaking out and being taken seriously will give other victims courage to come forward.

Hugh Hefner was supposedly the one who showed him how to do it, yet no one is saying throw Hef in jail.

Hugh Hefner was supposedly the one who showed him how to do it, yet no one is saying throw Hef in jail. But has anyone come forward and accused Hef of doing this to them? That is the difference I see - scores of women have accused Cosby of doing the same thing, and since all their stories are remarkably similar it becomes hard to dismiss them. Until they came forward the story was unsubstantiated gossip and rumor.

I read about this recently, but it wasn't Hef who showed him how to do it, but Hef's other best friend, who was a doctor. That guy was the one who wrote the prescriptions for it. I wish I could remember where I read about it...it was a blind item reveal not too long ago.

I've read a couple of those playboy bunny tell alls ( but not holly Madison's yet) and Hef giving the girls qualudes was apparently a thing. If I remember correctly, in Isabelle Something's book, Hef told her what they were and that they would loosen her up in preparation for their Tuesday night orgies ( seriously, there was a designated group sex night for him and his seven girlfriends) I've got no problem if everyone knew what they were taking and for what purpose. Well, other than the ick factor.
If I am remembering that wrong, I will condemn him too.

I searched and the blind item reveal I was thinking about is here. It's CDAN, though, which isn't as reliable as some of the other sites.

I have no doubt Hef will be accused much the same way eventually. The difference is everyone knows what Hef is all about - sex, lots of it, with every young woman possible. So to hear he drugged young women is not going to appall the public like it does Mr. Jello Pudding Pop.
