He sounds very angry and bitter. I hope he is not drinking and using again. I I've been thinking with this Avengers promotional tour, with the rest of the cast appearing to be partying hard, RDJ is probably feeling left out and it is making him feel resentful.

While I enjoyed the original Iron Man, I was never on the RDJ love train. I enjoyed his performance, but for the last few years, he's come across as the actual Tony Stark. After getting off drugs and serving time (good for him) he had his Hollywood resurgence, and it feels like he's truly indulged the adulation. I get it, he fought hard to get back to where he is, but he just comes off as smug.

He does sound crankier lately. I wonder if he's still stung by The Judge flopping. Have I mentioned lately how awful that movie was?

Completely unfounded but I wonder if he's on a supplement like HCG or similar and that's making him grumpy. How fit does he look?

As a person with alcohol addiction issues, I will always love RDJ for saying something to the effect "I thought about having a few glasses of wine at Thanksgiving dinner, but then I remember I had plans for Christmas." That's the best reply to people who don't understand the concept of alcoholics not being able to occasionally have a few glasses of wine.

I enjoyed his performance, but for the last few years, he's come across as the actual Tony Stark. I'm a huge fan of him as an actor, and he's earned my respect with the way he's turned his life around, but I tend to agree with this. I wondered how much of it was an act, but it's a little hard to ignore. He was very humble on his way up the mountain, but once he reached the top, not so much. I'd still take him over most of Hollywood, but I do wish he'd dial it down a notch.

I was just about to say he & Tony Stark are becoming the same person. I liked Age of Ultron but from what I hear he shoehorned himself into this movie & the next one. Cause the millions are never enough.

Yea, I saw him present a young boy with a prosthetic (robotic) arm and I recall him being "Tony Stark" and never coming out of character. It was a little odd. Nice gesture, of course, but I can see your point.

Wow, really? The guy takes time out of a crazy work schedule and his personal life to pretend to be Iron Man for a fan in a video to bring attention to an amazing project to bring low cost prosthetics to children and he gets slammed? I know this is a snark site, but that seems way harsh. And for the record, they ask the little boy who he is and he says "Iron Man" and then identifies him as "Robert." If you want to criticize him for taking the Tony Stark thing too far, at least he's using his powers for good. Who knows how much increased awareness that prosthetics program got because of his involvement? Full disclosure - I am an RDJ apologist going way back. Unless he's doing shit like strangling kittens and donating to the defense fund for Freddie Gray's killers he gets a pass from me.
