That's not getting old. That's gettin' rough. Maybe that bandaid's what happens when you self-administer Botox.

I still think it's age. Her eyes became baggy midway through the penultimate season of Charmed and have worsened since then. Drugs take a toll on one's entire appearance (see Crackney) and the only problems I see on Rose's face are the undereye bags and the smirking thing, which she did on Charmed, as though her lips were too big for her or something.

I *need* to know what happened to her face. This is so I'll know not to do it myself.

Maybe the eye thing had something to do with the crushed glasses and plastic surgeons trying to fix it... or something. I don't know! I do know she was wearing a band-aid later on. There were pictures of it... somewhere. I can dig them up if anyone cares.
But, seriously. Broken toes after walking into a door? Did she walk into a great oak door? At a full speed run? I don't get it.

Well, I gave myself a concussion walking into a doorframe at a normal speed...Yes, I'm very clever. Sometimes it just depends on the angle of the blow. Bodies are weird.
Rose's face...sigh. She was so beautiful and unique-looking. I hope she detoxes and heals whatever's under that bandaid (the glasses thing, I hope) and goes back to being beautiful. And gains some weight. I always liked her, even when she was mugging on Charmed.

A little dish from a friend in the biz: after his wife found out about his affair with Rose during Grindhouse, Rodruigez had an emotional breakdown and had to leave the set halfway though filming. Tarantino actually finished directing the second half of Rodruigez's part of the film. It was a pretty intense set to be on, esp for Rose, b/c she was in the middle of the drama.
The thing is, if you scroll through her IMDB photos, she's not that much thinner now than she was in a lot of her older photos. So why does her face look so different? It seems like she must have had a facelift, but that would be so bizarre - she's only 33.

Interesting. He does seems to have a penchant for casting beautiful brunettes (Salma, Rose, Carla). Is he back with his wife? I think I read that somewhere. Rose on the cover April's Maxim This is part of a special 3 cover collector's edition. A few excerpts from her interview, courtesy of Jared.

Ha! Different strokes for different folks. I think it looks way sexy, and I wouldn't mind having one. At least I'd never have to search for my other shoe in my mess of a closet.
