I think one of the differences between Elvis and R Kelly is that Priscilla is the only one who was ever that young when the relationship started. Every other relationship Elvis was in was with a woman past the age of consent. R Kelly seems to be someone who preys on young girls, whereas Elvis seemed to be attracted to Priscilla, who just happened to be young. I'm not making excuses for the age difference. I think it's kind of creepy that a 20-year old man would want to date a 14-year old girl. But I don't think Elvis was primarily attracted to young girls like R Kelly is, which takes the ick factor down a bit for me.

She was really pretty. For the first time I can see both her and Elvis in Lisa Marie. It's a shame what the botched plastic surgery procedures have done to her face.

Whoa. Yeah, she did look older than 14. Though I can still tell she was a teenager. I would guessed closer to 18 than 14 though. Still, even if originally Elvis thought she was 18 he should have backed off the second he found out she was really 14.

R Kelly said the same thing about videotape girl...she looked older and told him she was older. I don't see the difference.
Prescilla was gorgeous. Wow!

No, I agree that he should have backed off. I'm just saying, I cut Elvis more slack because there wasn't a pattern of him chasing after young teenage girls. He seemed to fall for Priscilla, not for girls who were young. I dont' feel the disgust for Elvis that I feel for R Kelly, who I think is a predator.

And Elvis didn't discard her once she came of age. Sure, their relationship was squicky (not to mention probably illegal) but it's clear that there was something beyond sexual fetish between Elvis and Priscilla. |

Priscilla, Lisa Marie and Lisa Marie's daughter Riley were all in Vogue together a few years ago, and Riley really favors the 15-year-old Priscilla. Apparently she's a model, and I thought she was so pretty that I'm surprised we haven't seen/heard more of her. The only mention I've seen since Vogue was that she was dating Ryan Cabrera. Although I'm not much of a fashionista so she could be doing tons of model-y things and I probably wouldn't know.
