Is the movie this one? The production stills made this look like "so bad is good" territory. Elvis was "so mediocre, it's mediocre". cremetangerine82 , YES! That's the one! It is a bit Lifetime-esque in its production values but there's something about it that has just resonated through the years for me. Probably has something to do with the age I watched it Great! It does look cheesy than cheddar. DM me. At this point, I want all future actors, directors, and/or producers to watch Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story for a musical biopic and not try to emulate that movie in any way. Plus, Jack White is very funny as Elvis!

Marie de Salle got to it first, but yes, that’s the one. I loved that movie!

I'll go ahead and offer up my favorite depiction of Elvis in the movies: 2002's Bubba Hotep (trailer in link). Synopsis: Omg, it is so good. I have it on DVD but, sadly, no longer have a DVD player.

Bubba Ho-Tep is great! It was one of my free rentals when I worked at Blockbuster. I wasn't expecting much, but it was a great watch! I recommend it as background at a party with plenty of food and drinks or as an MST3K-esque funny commentary.
