[Priscilla], 77, filed court documents in the Los Angeles Superior Court on Friday, January 27, in which she contests that a previously added 2016 amendment featured an invalid signature. The filing, which Us obtained, alleged that Priscilla and the late singer’s former business manager Barry Siegel were initially named as co-trustees before a late addition removed their names in favor of her children Riley Keough and Benjamin Keough. (Lisa Marie shared Riley, 33, and Benjamin, who died in 2020, with first ex-husband Danny Keough.)

As the alleged will stands, the Zola actress is the sole trustee of Lisa Marie’s estate since her brother died by suicide in July 2020. Priscilla, however, claims this portion of the document has issues regarding the “authenticity and validity” of Lisa Marie’s signature. The New York native believes that Lisa Marie’s signature on the amendment was forged, noting that the penmanship did not match the “Storm and Grace” singer’s usual style. The 2016 amendment allegedly was not witnessed or notarized, with Priscilla claiming it is an “invalid modification.”

This is going to get messy fast. I agree that Priscilla was deeply involved in saving Elvis's estate back in the day, but it does make sense that Lisa Marie wanted her daughter to be the trustee now- for one thing, Riley will hopefully live a long life, and Priscilla is 77.

Maybe Priscilla is worried that Riley’s little sister’s dad, I don’t know his name, will try and get his hands on the estate somehow? So she is trying to get in front of that?

Sadly, but not a shock, TMZ is reporting that she was back on opioids and taking weight loss meds to lose 50 lbs before the Golden Globes. And that she'd had recent plastic surgery. That's a lot to put your body through at 54.

That's what I was wondering. Michael Lockwood is supposed to be a real piece of work. So maybe she's doing this preemptively to protect the estate from getting into his hands.

I've been reading that Priscilla and Lisa Marie were estranged for eight years. That probably had a lot to do with why Priscilla was removed as trustee. Seems like this is Priscilla trying to get her hands on the estate more than anything.

Priscilla is 77 years old. Even if everyone involved here has good intentions, it's time to be handing things down to the next generation. Riley is in her 30s and seems responsible and competent.

It's always amazing to me that these celebrities with mega-estates die with invalid wills written on napkins or in emails. Or that they made contentious changes to their wills that they didn't finalize.

Elvis's estate is worth about half a billion dollars, and Lisa Marie made a decision to change trustees, which is always going to be challengeable. And she didn't bother getting her signature witnessed or notarized! It's not like that's a hard thing to do.

Is Priscilla still active in Scientology? If she is I have no doubt there is some high level handler demanding she get her hands on that Elvis money. $cientology would love to get a piece (or all) of that.

How does Priscilla have anything to do with the estate? She and Elvis were divorced when he passed, correct? (I have done zero research on this; I do not like Elvis music and haven’t really paid much attention to him other than the TV movie “Elvis & Me.”)
